KPIC, Blue Veins sign MoU
PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Commission (KPIC) signed a memorandum of understanding with Blue Veins, a non-governmental organization, on Thursday.
The purpose of the MoU is to assist the KPIC by extending cooperation to ensure free flow of information especially amongst the marginalised community i.e. transgender, minorities and women in line with the Right to Information Act, 2013, he added.
Farah Hamid Khan, Chief Information Commissioner, KP Information Commission (KPIC) and Qamar Naseem, Director Blue Veins, signed the MOU on behalf of their respective organizations, said a press release.
Under the MoU, the KPIC will work together with the Blue Veins to disseminate public awareness messages on right to information through installation of standees, airing of documentaries on RTI.
