Islamabad: In a momentous event organised by Federal Directorate of Education in collaboration with National Institute of Psychology, and Islamabad Model College for Girls (Postgraduate-Margalla), F-7/4, esteemed guests and educational stakeholders gathered to address the pivotal Dyslexia Special Measures Act 2022, here on Monday.
Tanweer Ahmad, Director General Federal Directorate of Education, Riffat Jabeen Director Academics and Nadeem Ahmad, Director Training were also present on the occasion. Commencing with the recitation of the Holy Quran and Na’at, the ceremony set the tone for an enlightening exploration. Director General Tanweer Ahmad extended a warm welcome to all participants, emphasising the Act’s significance in fostering inclusive education.
Distinguished speakers, Dr. Rubina Hanif and Dr. Humaira Jami, provided expert insights into dyslexia and associated disorders, contributing to a collective understanding of the subject. As the seminar concluded, participants engaged in a dynamic Questions and Answers Session, followed by distribution of college crests among the resource persons and the National Anthem. The event concluded with an invitation to join for refreshments, providing an opportunity for networking and continued discussions.
