Aleem appoints IPP office-bearers for Lahore, Sheikhupura
LAHORE: Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) President Abdul Aleem Khan appointed the office-bearers for Lahore and Sheikhupura district, here on Monday.
He visited the party office on Upper Mall here and addressed the newly appointed party leaders. He said the IPP was continuing its mass contact campaign initially in Punjab and Lahore division. He directed the IPP leaders to create awareness among public about party’s manifesto and run their election campaign in a befitting manner.
Mian Khalid Mahmood gave a briefing on organisational structure of the party. Party presidents were appointed for the Youth Wing, district Sheikhupura, and city. Nominations were also made for trader and minority wings.
Rana Abdul Manaf Khan will be IPP’s senior vice president for Lahore division, and he will also be Lawyers Wing president for Sheikhupura.
Similarly, Haroon Imran Gill will be president of IPP Lahore division Minority Wing, Shehbaz Mughal general secretary and Sharif Masih vice president.
For district Sheikhupura, Chaudhry Muhammad Iqbal Gopaira will be the president, Hafiz Moazzam Ali general secretary, while Mian Taimur Khalid will be the Youth Wing president.
Mirza Muhammad Baig was nominated as the president of IPP Sheikhupura City, Mian Haroon Khalid general secretary, Muhammad Riaz Chaudhry, Dr. Sarfraz Gudi and Muhammad Afzal Basra will be senior vice presidents, while Rana Muhammad Jameel Gudi will be the president of Traders Wing and Rana Jamshed Ali was nominated as president Youth Wing Sheikhupura City.
Malik Habib Sultan Khokhar Advocate was appointed president tehsil Sheikhupura while Imran Amin Advocate will be general secretary. IPP President Abdul Aleem Khan congratulated the newly appointed office-bearers.
