LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Shabbaz Sharif has taken strong notice of kite flying and Basant celebrations in different cities of the province and directed authorities concerned to take action against those violating the ban.
The chief minister has sought report from police and local administration over the violation of ban on Basant festivities and kite flying in different cities of Punjab.
He said violation of ban on kite flying would not be tolerated. He directed the officials to ensure ban on the festivities and take action against the violators without any discrimination.
