Savannah Guthrie fans react to Sheriff's latest statement on Nancy investigation

Savannah Guthrie fans have expressed their views over latest statement issued by the Pima County Sheriff's Department on investigation related to her mother Nancy.

The department issued the statement on its official X, formerly Twitter handle.

They shared saying the statement regarding information circulating online related to the Nancy Guthrie investigation.

“We are aware of the reports regarding an anonymous tip related to the Nancy Guthrie investigation that was provided to a group in Mexico. At this time, we have not been contacted by the Mexican authorities,” the statement reads.

“The investigation remains active and ongoing, and we will continue to follow up on any credible information.”

Reacting to it, one fan said, “I’m pro law enforcement but Pima County you are an absolute disgrace.”

Another said, “I don’t think it would shock anyone if she was found in a grave in Mexico.”

The third said, “I'm sorry, but your statement regarding ANYTHING to do with this case means absolutely NOTHING to me, Sheriff. I feel for your dept, but your dishonestly & mishandling of information/evidence has tainted every single aspect of this case. The public can't trust a word you say.”

“Pima county you look real bad right now. I pray Nancy is found,” the fourth reacted.

The fifth said, “More heartache for the family and loved ones of Nancy Guthrie. So sad for all involved. After all this time, I don’t think anyone is expecting the case to have a happy ending but the family would no doubt welcome some closure to this painful chapter in their lives.”
