With only a day or two having passed since the daughter of Prince Harry celebrating her birthday, royal journalist Duncan Larcombe has come forward with some pointers of his own, not just about the rumors surrounding Meghan’s hypocrisy towards her kids and social media but also about the Duke’s reaction.

He delivered these points while conversing with The Daily Mirror and in that conversation he’s said, “there's every chance that Harry might be allowing it through gritted teeth.”

For those unversed, many are aware of Prince Harry’s thoughts towards the media, to his own children’s privacy and that of his own childhood that was incredibly media geared.

It is in light of that the Mr Larcombe spoke of the potential ‘unease’ he might be feeling towards his wife’s approach with the children.

In his eyes, “[Harry] knows what it's like being a child in the public eye, and he doesn't want that for his kids. But I think we know who wears the trousers in the relationship.”

Before concluding he also added, “It will make Harry pretty uneasy, given what we know and what he's said in the past.”

For those unversed the ongoing backlash has even prompted a spokesperson to issue a statement whereby the Duchess clarified her stance on sharing her children’s pictures, and compared her approach to that of her 10-minute speech at the World Health Assembly in Geneva Switzerland.

“The Duchess has always been clear that there is a distinction between sharing moments from her life and exposing her children to public scrutiny,” the spokesperson told Newsweek.

“By obscuring their faces, she is demonstrating the very principle she advocates for: giving children privacy, agency, and protection in an increasingly digital world.”
