King Charles, Queen Camilla schedule royal duty on wedding day of Princess Anne's son
Princess Anne's son Peter Phillips will tie the knot with Harriet Sperling on June 6, 2026
King Charles III and Queen Camilla will be present at Epsom Downs for the Betfred Derby on Saturday, June 6, the Jockey Club has confirmed.
The King and his wife serve as joint Patrons of The Jockey Club, the organisation responsible for operating the Surrey racecourse.
The royal visit falls on the same day as Peter Phillips's wedding to Harriet Sperling, a private ceremony at All Saints Church, Kemble, in Cirencester.
Peter Phillips, the son of Princess Anne, and Harriet Sperling will exchange vows on Saturday, June 6th at All Saints Church in Kemble, Cirencester.
King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince William and Kate Middleton have been notified of the wedding plans.
A report said Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson will not be at the wedding because their presence would overshadow the couple's day.
Both Peter Phillips and Harriet Sperling are divorced. Phillips has two daughters from his 13-year marriage to Autumn Phillips: Savannah, aged 14, and Isla, aged 13.
Sperling, who works as an NHS paediatric nurse, has a teenage daughter named Georgia from a previous relationship.
