Rob Reiner, wife Michele's true feelings for son Nick revealed
Rob Reiner and Michele Reiner, would have forgiven their son Nick — “yes, even for murder”.
The family insiders have revealed Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele Singer Reiner’s true feelings for their son Nick, who has been charged with murder of his parents.
Nick Reiner, 32, was detained hours after the bodies of the 78-year-old actor-director and his wife, 70-year-old Michele Singer Reiner, were discovered in the upscale Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles on Sunday, with multiple reports that they had been stabbed to death or had their throats slit.
Hollywood expert Rob Shuter, citing the family insiders, has claimed that even in the face of the unthinkable, Rob Reiner and Michele Reiner, would have forgiven their son Nick — “yes, even for murder”.
“Would they forgive him for this?” a family source asks rhetorically. “One hundred percent. Without question.”
The insiders went on saying the forgiveness wasn’t something Rob and Michele talked about — it was something they “practiced, again and again, through years of chaos, pain, and heartbreak.”
“They never stopped loving him,” the source tells the expert “And they never believed love should come with conditions.”
The close confident further says, “They saw Nick as sick, not evil. They believed understanding was the first step toward healing.”
“If they were alive today,” a family insider claims quietly, “they’d be defending their son — and forgiving him — just like they always did.”
Nick Reiner has a history of substance abuse stretching back to his teenage years, and he even had argued with his parents at a glitzy Hollywood party on Saturday evening.
The American director and his wife were found dead at their southern California mansion, US media reported on Sunday.
