Kate Middleton is set to return to Westminster Abbey for her annual Together at Christmas carol concert with fans eager to hear her message this year.

Sharing her two cents on Princess of Wales’ event, set to take place on December 5, royal expert Katie Nicholl reflected on Kate’s previous addresses.

She said Prince William’s wife have been personal and heartfelt with her messages as she always focuses on the importance of being there for one another.

Last year, Kate's message reflected her recovery from cancer and focused on kindness and community spirit, noted Nicholl.

Speaking of the event, the expert told The Mirror, “Nobody really knew if it would have legs, but it’s become such an established occasion, with an impressive royal turnout and huge support from Kate’s own family.”

“It’s one of the dates she most looks forward to, and I think she’s immensely proud of what it has become.”

Last year, Kate attended the event following her announcement that she had completed her treatment for cancer.

In her letter to all the concertgoers, she wrote, “Christmas is one of my favourite times of the year.”

“It is a time for celebration and joy, but it also gives us the opportunity to slow down and reflect on the deeper things that connect us all,” the Princess of Wales continued.

“It is when we stop and take ourselves away from the pressures of daily life, that we find the space to live our lives with an open heart, with love, kindness and forgiveness – so much of what the Christmas spirit is all about.”

Reflecting on her words, the expert said, “It was a very personal message last year, and we heard Kate talk a lot about love and empathy.”

“Along with recognising the healing power of nature, she clearly credits her recovery to love, family and being together, and those themes tie together beautifully at Christmas. It will be very interesting to see what her message will be this year.”
