Meghan receives invite to major Hollywood event days after acting return

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made a surprising appearance at a star-studded event just days after the Duchess of Sussex ended her eight-year long hiatus in Hollywood.

The As Ever founder, who will be playing a small role in upcoming movie Close Personal Friends, arrived at Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday with a lavish James Bond-themed party in LA held at the Jeff Bezos’s $165M mansion in Beverly Hills.

In footage and photos that emerged online, Harry and Meghan were matching in black as they walked hand-in-hand.

Harry, who was dressed in a classic black tux and had a poppy pin prominently attached to his jacket lapel, was seen leading the way with Meghan beaming in a dark navy top paired with a long-slit skirt.

King Charles’s younger son held a grim expression despite the party buzzing with excitement and celebrities flocking the area. It would appear that the Prince may have been thinking of the upcoming Remembrance Day event, held annually to honour the fallen soldiers. The sombre occasion is marked by the royals in a series of events.

In a full contrast to what the UK may look like, the massive birthday bash in the US was hosted by Kris’s children, Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Rob Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner, according to Page Six.

According to insiders cited by DailyMail, there were no cameras and reporters inside the venue with 300 invited guests.

The stunning guest list included Oprah Winfrey, Gayle King, Adele, Sarah Paulson, Naomi Watts, Niecy Nash, Tyler Perry, Bill Gates, Selma Blair and her boyfriend Andy Kiernan, Black Eyed Peas icon will.i.am, Martha Stewart among others.

Meghan seems to have found a golden chance to not only rub shoulders with A-listers but also scoure for possible opportunities as she delves back into glitzy career path.
