King Charles III's office issued a heartwarming update as Queen Camilla threw a party for the unsung heroes of the UK at Clarence House on Wednesday.
The Queen, 78, earned heartfelt appreciation for her gesture, honouring volunteers from the National Association of Care Catering and Royal Voluntary Service for their dedication to serving meals and combating loneliness across the UK.
The royal family's official Instagram account shared a video of the Queen's people-friendly activities, serving jacket potatoes to celebrities alongside TikTok star Spudman at a reception.
The Palace wrote in a statement: 'Serving up spuds for volunteers!'
It continued, 'This Meals on Wheels Week, Her Majesty hosted community volunteers and supporters from the National Association of Care Catering (NACC) and @RoyalVolService at Clarence House.'
'The NACC provide meals on wheels and lunch clubs across the UK, in an effort to provide nutritious food and reduce loneliness.'
The statement continued: 'The RVS have recently unveiled a digital platform, GoVo, to help people time flexible volunteering opportunities.'
'As a special thank you, guests were treated to a special jacket potato courtesy of RVS supporter, the renowned @SpudmanOfficial!'
The latest video comes amid reports that Sarah Ferguson has left the royal lodge after her downfall.
At the event, Camilla met members of the NACC who help to cater for elderly and vulnerable people. They were joined by representatives from the Royal Voluntary Service (RVS), who brought with them a branded food truck from which Camilla helped Spudman serve lunch.
