Prince Harry and Meghan Markle seem to have sparked concerns as a senior member of the Sussex team is making big move to get close to ‘loyal’ Palace aides.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex exited their senior working positions when they moved out of the U.K. in 2020 to settle in Montecito, California. Following their departure, simmering tensions behind palace walls emerged leading to the years-long rift that continues to widen.

Now, James Holt, Executive Director of The Archewell Foundation – founded by Harry and Meghan for their charitable work – has been showing support to important figures to the royal family, weeks after Prince Harry publicly made a plea for reconciliation, according to MailOnline.

Holt, who is considered a ‘right-hand man’ for the Sussexes, reportedly moved back to the U.K. for family reasons. The British communications expert was seen ‘liking’ and ‘celebrating’ several Royal Family related posts, especially made by Prince William’s ally Jason Knauf and King Charles’s senior aide, Helen Cook.

Cook had shared about the King marking 25 years of the Royal Drawing School, which Holt ‘celebrated’ it.

Meanwhile, Jason, who is now the CEO of William’s Earthshot Prize, shared an update about Climate Action Week event which he attended with the future king. Holt had ‘liked’ the post on LinkedIn.

Jason had been the first person who had brought Meghan’s bullying allegations forward when staffers at Buckingham Palace had complained to him. While the former Suits actress vehemently denies the ‘smear campaign’ against her, Jason stands by his stance and asserts he has ‘no regrets’.

It sparks the notion that the Sussexes may be trying to improve ties with the royals as Prince Harry is set to make his final attempt at reconciliation with an olive branch to the royals.

Harry has reportedly approved the royal guest list and will be sending out invites to King Charles and Prince William to attend the Invictus Games in Birmingham in 2027.

Holt declined to comment on the matter and so did the spokesperson for the Sussexes. Although a source told the outlet that Holt and Cook are old friends and colleagues as they worked together at Downing Street.

As for the Knauf, James was one of the Royal Foundation team that helped design Earthshot Prize and he was being supportive of a good cause.
