Man dies from acid given by wife
LAHORE
A 32-year-old man was killed allegedly by his wife in the Islampura police limits on Friday.
Police said victim Ehsan-ul-Haq, a resident of Sant Nagar, was admitted to hospital in an unconscious condition and succumbed to injuries there.
Brother of the victim alleged that victim’s wife had murdered him by making him drink acid. Police removed the body to morgue for autopsy, collected forensic evidences from crime scene and recorded the statements of eyewitnesses.
Police also registered an FIR No. 230/16 against suspect Najma Bibi who was at large. Police were investigating the matter.

Police said victim Muhammad Yasir was going to his workplace on a bike. As he reached near Babu Sabu, a fast moving vehicle hit him. As a result, he fell down and received injuries. He was shifted to a nearby hospital where doctors pronounced him as brought dead. The driver fled the scene.
Police removed the body to morgue for autopsy, collected forensic evidences from crime scene and registered the statements of the eyewitnesses.
Police were investigating the matter and searching for suspect. The victim worked as a salesman at a medical store.
