PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Pervez Khattak has urged the elected representatives to utilise the development funds judiciously with focus on efficient implementation of annual development programme to facilitate the public properly.
He expressed these views while presiding over a meeting held at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat regarding various issues of PK-51, Haripur, said a handout.
Senior Provincial Minister Sikandar Sherpao, Minister for Minerals Development Anisa Zeb Tahirkheli, MPA Gohar Nawaz and other authorities attended the meeting. The elected representative demanded share in royalty of Terbela Dam for the dwellers of PK-51.
The chief minister directed the authorities concerned to resolve the issue. He said that local government had already been provided 30 percent of developmental budget which he stressed must be utilised in an efficient manners.
He made it clear that there would be no compromise on the implementation of the development schemes reflected in the ADP. “Such schemes must be implemented in letter and spirit,” he directed.
