The rupee ended down at 104.86 against dollar on Monday on higher demand for import payments, dealers said. Last Friday’s close was Rs104.85 in the interbank foreign exchange market. The interbank outright forex market initiated in the band of Rs104.84 and Rs104.87 and recorded day high of Rs104.86 and low of Rs104.85. In cash ready market, buying and selling of the dollar recorded at Rs105.10-Rs105.30.
