FAISALABAD: A three-day anti-polio drive will commence in the district from April 25.
A spokesman for the Health Department said on Sunday that arrangements were being completed to achieve 100 per cent target of the anti-polio drive. He said that the Health Department teams would visit door-to-door in all localities of the district to administer anti-polio drops to about 1.3 million children under five years of age. In this connection, public awareness campaign would also be launched by arranging walks, seminars, meetings and conferences besides displaying banners, distributing pamphlets and making announcements through loudspeakers, he added.
