KU cancels three admissions

The University of Karachi on Wednesday cancelled three admissions after it was noted that the mark sheets provided by the students were tampered.
According to KU Admissions Director Prof Dr Khalid Iraqi, on verification from the varsity’s examinations department, the documents of three candidates, who were granted admissions in 2016 (Morning Program), have been found to be counterfeit.
As per the institution’s rules and regulations, admissions of Ali Raza Khan, a student of Department of Political Science (Public Policy) MA programme bearing form number 33037, Syed Hussain Ahmed bearing form number 35714, Department of Political Science (Public Policy) MA programme, and Fatima Bano Shireen Khan of Women’s Studies MA programme, bearing form number 27881, have been cancelled with immediate effect.
