Rawalpindi
A graceful reunion-cum-annual dinner was held at Aleem-ud-din Auditorium of the Postgraduate College, Asghar Mall, says a press release.
The reunion was arranged by teaching staff of the college. It was attended by a number of old students who had made their mark in life and those who had retired from this college or were associated with the college for many years. Dr Jamal Nasir, a well known philanthropic and political figure of Rawalpindi was the chief guest.
Serving and retired principals also attended. Chairman Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Rawalpindi Dr Mohammad Zareef also graced the occasion.
Newly appointed principal of this College, Professor Khushi Muhammad Nasir welcomed the guests and said that it must have been an exciting and nostalgic experience for the old alumni. He said that it is always very ennobling to visit the alma mater where they had spent the formative period of their life.
Dr Jamal Nasir thanked the Principal and teaching staff of the college who had provided them with an occasion to visit their ‘benign mother’. He emotionally recalled the days when he, as a student attended the classrooms and played in the grounds.
