Hamza asks Imran to apologise for false promises
LAHORE : Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Hamza Shahbaz has said that democracy is the only solution to put the country on the road to progress and prosperity. He added the continuity of the system should be ensured as it was a good omen that like the last time once again the government was going to complete its tenure and peaceful transition of power was going to take place.
Talking to the media after a visit to the Institute of Mental Health, Hamza Shahbaz criticised the politics of the PTI and Imran Khan and said that five years of KP people had been wasted by the provincial government. "Imran Khan should go to the masses in KP and seek pardon on false promises.
Standing aside with Jahangir Tareen and Aleem Khan, what kind of revolution can Imran Khan bring about? People of Lahore have once again rejected the politics of allegations and after trying three times Imran Khan could not visit Lahore and was badly rejected by empty streets," he claimed. Hamza Shahbaz said that no one could deceive the masses and people were aware of the fact that who had served them or not.
He added that in the health sector of Punjab a lot of work had been done and modern facilities provided in public sector hospitals.
"Still, we must look into our weaknesses and always endeavor to improve the situation." he added.
Hamza Shahbaz took round of emergency and other sections of Institute of Mental Health and enquired about the health of the patients.
He expressed sympathies with them and said that humanity was the biggest lesson and we must pay attention to patients suffering from mental diseases.
He said no one should challenge each other as general elections were close and people would be deciding that who was eligible for their vote.
Hamza Shahbaz said that people’s mandate should be respected at all costs. He said that political persons changing their loyalties would be examined by their voters and they would have to be answerable to them as well.
