PESHAWAR: Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) Chairman Aftab Sherpao has said that merger of Fata with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa would help resolve problems faced by tribespeople.
Talking to a delegation of tribesmen here Wednesday, he said that Fata merger should not be delayed and tribal people should be given representation in assemblies. He said that tribal people have rendered matchless sacrifices for the motherland and they should be given representation in assemblies.
Sherpao said that the QWP would raise voice for the rights of tribal people at every forum according to their wishes and aspirations. He added that mainstreaming of Fata would help address sense of deprivation among dwellers of tribal areas.
