PESHAWAR: Armed men shot dead a local when he was taking his wife to a hospital on Kohat Road late Thursday.
One Khadija of Amin Colony in the limits of Police Station Bhanamari said that her husband Sakhi Marjan had returned from the United Arab Emirates recently.
She said that she developed pain late Thursday night, after which her spouse was taking her to the hospital on a motorbike when armed robbers intercepted them near the Kohat Road.
The woman added that her husband resisted the robbers who opened fire on him. He was taken to hospital where he succumbed to injuries.
