NOWSHERA: An official of the Pakistan Baitul Maal on Friday said that orphans and helpless children should be given equal opportunities of quality education and other healthy activities.

 

Speaking at a seminar organised by the international humanitarian organisation, Ummah Welfare Trust (UWT) and Ummah Children Academy (UCA), director general Pakistan Baitul Maal Zamurrad Khan said that his organization had donated Rs10.2 million to the Ummah Children Academy.

 

He said that UCA was dedicated to providing quality education to the orphans and helpless children and that os the reason the students of the academy could compete with students of Beaconhouse School and City School in Islamabad.The Ummah Welfare Trust Chairman, Maulana Muhammad Idrees said the academy would be upgraded to the post-graduate and university level in the second phase and work had been started on it.
