Qazi Hussain Ahmad Memorial Education Expo will be held from October 27 to 29 at International Islamic University here.
The Education Expo is being organised jointly by IIU student society SAFE and Center for Discussions and Solutions (CDS) an Islamabad based think-tank that (Late) Qazi Hussain Ahmad founded.
The IIU Education Expo includes a grand Book Fair where scores of publishers will exhibit their books and offer discounts on sale. The event will be inaugurated by Barrister Zafarullah Khan, Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Special Assistant to Prime Minister.
This Education Expo is expected to be visited by about 15,000 students as well as writers, intellectuals and scholars from the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
The programme of the Education Expo also includes a seminar on ‘Our Education System and Pakistan’s future: Analysis and way forward’ on Tuesday afternoon.
Ahsan Iqbal, Federal Minister for Planning, National Reforms and Development will be the chief guest on this occasion and other speakers include Zulfiqar Cheema, Orya Maqbool Jan, Prof. Gauhar Siddiqui and Asif Luqman Qazi.
