A delegation of the Punjab Bar Council led by its member Faisal Qosain Mufti has visited the campuses of Rawalpindi Law College, Jinnah Institute of Informatics and Rawalpindi College of Commerce, says a press release.
Mufti praised the quality of educational services being provided in these organisations in the fields of law, commerce, accounting and banking. He also eulogised the leadership of educationist Pirzada Rahat Quddusi.
A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was also inked between the Punjab Bar Council and the said educational institutions, signed by Faisal Qosain Mufti and Pirzada Rahat Quddusi.
The MoU was aimed at providing scholarships and fee concessions to the children of lawyers intended to take admission in Rawalpindi Law College, Rawalpindi College of Commerce and Jinnah Institute of Informatics. The signing ceremony was held here at the Jinnah Institute of Informatics.
Mufti in his address said the Education Committee of the bar was working round-the-clock for the promotion of education and soon revolutionary changes would be brought about in the field of law education in Punjab.
Quddusi appreciated the educational services of Faisal Qosain Mufti. He promised to award scholarships and fee concessions for the children of the lawyers’ community at his education institutions. Mufti, on behalf of Punjab Bar Council, presented a shield to Rahat Quddusi.
