Islamabad: The International Islamic University, Islamabad, has awarded Rs2 million worth of scholarship offered by the Bank Al Baraka to its 137 poor students with good academic record.
These scholars, including 99 boys and 38 girls, were selected after detailed scrutiny of their particulars and thorough interviews. The university received a total of 532 applications from students of all faculties and departments for the scholarship i.e. tuition fee for the Spring 2015 semester. The university administration thanked the Bank Al-Baraka for financially supporting to the university’s poor students and said it looked forward to building long-term bilateral relations, especially on student scholarships.
