LAHORE The Punjab government has posted Ali Jan Khan as new Managing Director of Punjab Education Foundation (PEF). Ali Jan Khan belongs to the 28th Common Training Programme of the Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS) and has served different positions including PSO to Chief Minister Punjab and District Coordination Officer.

The Punjab government has posted Ali Jan Khan as new Managing Director of Punjab Education Foundation (PEF).
Ali Jan Khan belongs to the 28th Common Training Programme of the Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS) and has served different positions including PSO to Chief Minister Punjab and District Coordination Officer. On Wednesday after assuming the charge of the post, the new MD was briefed about the working and expansion plans of the Foundation in a meeting held at the head office with Chairman Engr. Qamar-ul-Islam Raja in the chair.
Speaking on the occasion, Ali Jan Khan said the PEF had an important role in education-promotion in the disfranchised segments of the society through its school partners. He asked the programme heads to strive for achieving the organisational targets so that 100 percent enrollment goal of the “Parho Punjab—Barho Punjab” could be fully achieved by the year 2018.
Earlier, the Chairman PEF formally welcomed the new Managing Director and hoped that his presence would help to further advance the mission of education-promotion at the grassroots level.
