Killer gets life imprisonment

ARIFWALA: ASJ Shakir Hassan Monday awarded life imprisonment to convict Asghar and acquitted three co-accused, giving them the benefit of the doubt on Monday.
Muhammad Asghar alias Asghari of 275/EB, Burewala along with co-accused Muhammad Nawaz, Elahi Seen and Noor Ahmad had killed Faiz Farid of Qaboola police station in the area of Chak 123/EB. The Ahmad Yar police registered the case. The court also ordered Asghar to pay Rs 200,000 as compensation money to legal heirs of the deceased. In case of default, the convict will have to undergo another six-month imprisonment.
