WB team visits two Hafizabad schools

HAFIZABAD: A Word Bank team visited two schools here on Thursday. The World Bank team comprising Senior Education Specialist and Programme Manager for the Early Learning Partnership Amanda E Devercelli and Ella Humphrey with consultant Ali visited the Government Girls Community Model School at Dhingranwali. The World Bank team observed classroom activities of the early child education (ECE) while caregiver role and responsibilities were also observed separately.
Later, the parents and SMC members were called for a meeting. During the meeting, the parents and SMC members gave positive feedback and informed that the ECE room was good for attracting students and increasing enrollment. Later, the World Bank team visited the Government Girls Primary School, Soolangiwan, which had no ECE room.
Besides this, the World Bank team held a meeting with DTSC Muhammad Zaheer at DTSC GHS No-2 where seven DTEs were called for giving feedback relating to the established ECE rooms and their suggestions for enhancing the project. During the meeting, it was informed by the team that the project was going to enhance after two months.
