LAHORE: The first special Haj flight on Sunday left for Madina Munawara from the Allama Iqbal International Airport here carrying 357 pilgrims.
The pilgrims were seen off by Federal Secretary, Religious Affairs, Sohail Amir, Haj Director (Lahore) Saeed Ahmad Malik and Civil Aviation Authority Airport Manager Rashid Muhammad Hussain at the airport.
The federal secretary, speaking on the occasion, said this year better arrangements had been made for pilgrims and they had been given questionnaire to attain their feedback regarding arrangmnets.
He said Hajis should submit these questionnaires on their return so that in future things could be improved further.
Sohail Amir said pilgrims were guest of Allah, The Almighty, so they must take care about the Haram etiquettes.
The pilgrims should follow the Saudi laws and behave as a responsible citizen of Pakistan, he added.
