Call to recover money from profiteers
LAHORE:The government should make recoveries from those who extracted billions of rupees by creating artificial wheat and sugar crisis in the country.
These demands were raised by the leaders of Mutahida Labour Federation (MLF) and Pakistan Mazdoor Mahaz (PMM) Altaf Hussain Baloch, Muhammad Yaqoob, Shaukat Ch, Iqbal Zaffar, Fazal Wahid, Hanif Ramay and Muhammad Akbar.
They said billions of rupees fraud highlights the fact that some politicians are interested in maximising their personal gains at the cost of the poor.They said such politicians keep changing their parties to serve their interests by exploiting the peasants, workers and the poor. They praised the prime minister for making the inquiry report public and exposing those involved in embezzlement of public money.
