Eight die from Covid-19 so far in Lahore division
LAHORE :The number of confirmed as well as suspected patients of Covid-19 in Lahore Division so far was not more than 1,089 out of which 443 confirmed and eight have lost their lives.
Lahore Division comprised of Districts of Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura and Nankana, officials said adding Commissioner Lahore on Monday released a detailed report of Covid-19 patients in Lahore Division.
As per the report, confirmed/suspected cases of Covid-19 in District Lahore are 101, in District Kasur patients of Covid-19 are 35, in District Sheikhupura it is 19 and in District Nankana the patients are 34.
The report said that out of 1,089 patients, 443 are confirmed while as far eight patients have died due to the pandemic. Out of the eight dead, six belonged to District Lahore and two were from District Sheikhupura, the report added.
Out of the 443 confirmed patients, 426 belonged to Lahore, two from Kasur, three from Sheikhupura and 12 from Nankana. The report revealed that out of 646 suspected patients, 575 were from Lahore, 33 from Kasur, 16 from Sheikhupura and 22 from Nankana.
Out of the total 426 confirmed patients of Covid-19 in District Lahore, 217 were admitted to different hospitals (Mayo Hospital 121, PKLI 25, Services 13, CMH one, National Hospital 05, Jinnah Hospital 15, Children Hospital 02, Sheikh Zayed 02, LGH 01, Fauji Foundation 01, Doctors Hospital 03, Bahria Hospital 02, Govt Mozang Hospital one and 25 at Expo Centre).
Out of the remaining 176 confirmed cases, patients in quarantine at Kala Shah Kaku were 50, quarantine at Tableeghi Markaz were 7, quarantine at homes were 3, patients in process of quarantine were 94, one patient was at Services Hospital while 11 were not traceable.
Out of the total 575 suspected cases, 55 were in Mayo Hospital, 24 were in Sheikh Zayed, 23 were in Services, three in Government Teaching Hospital, Shahdara, two were in Lahore General Hospital, one in Ganga Ram, one in Children’s Hospital, six in Jinnah Hospital and 48 at KSK and six at Govt Kot Khwaja Saeed Hospital.
