Curfew time
April 07, 2020
The soft lockdown is a failed policy as people are already not able to work and we are failing to control the coronavirus. The prime minister must take immediate action keeping in view the economic situation of the country. The time calls for a curfew for mere 15 days with zero public movement.
The government can take following measures in the meanwhile: initiate a toll-free helpline for delivery of free food or stipend to daily wagers. Mobilise MPAs to look into their respective areas. Register and support all NGOs/welfare organisations to provide food to people in rural areas. Telemedicine for patients and an ambulance system for the public to avoid private mobility.
