LAHORE: Police checked around 54,629 citizens in the city here on Monday and asked over 51,443 people to contain their unnecessary movement and stay at homes. Around 520 FIRs were registered against the violators of Section-144 and they were arrested and released on taking warranty bonds that they would not move again in the city unnecessarily. Around 43,432 motorcycles, cars, rickshaws and bigger vehicles were contained from movement in the city.
