Officials visit quarantined villages in DI Khan
DERA ISMAIL KHAN: The civil administration and military officials on Saturday visited the sealed villages and localities to review the arrangements and precautionary steps after the death of a corona-infected person in the area. District Police Officer Hafiz Wahid Mahmood, Additional Deputy Commissioner Noor Alam Mahsud, Station Commander Brigadier Shamrez Khan and other civil and military officials visited Teekan, Lachra, Syed Nagar and other localities falling in the limits of Zandani Union Council. The authorities had sealed and quarantined the villages for all kind of social contacts with the rest of parts of the district to prevent the possible spread of coronavirus.
The visiting officials reviewed the situation to ensure availability of food and other facilities to the local people. They also reviewed the steps taken by the administration in coordination with the Health Department.
