As a nation we have suffered and are still suffering the after-effects of fighting someone else’s wars. In addition we have seen the destruction caused by proxy wars being fought on our soil.
We received over $15 billion to fight the war on terror. Has it been worth the cost of losing over 50,000 people and many more being injured or becoming homeless for life? How much has our economy lost? Some estimates put the loss at $100 billion. When will we realise that Pakistanis and Pakistan should come first?
