Minister wants use of technology in education
Islamabad: Minister of State for the Capital Administration and Development Division Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhary stressed the need for use of technology in education sector for the benefit of students and thus, contributing to the national development.
He said this while addressing a ceremony organised here for the distribution of computer tablets to government school teachers under the USAID-funded Pakistan Reading Project.
The minister said the country had progressed much in terms of technology and now, the technology was brought into the government schools to educate youth.
“Education is power and the use of technology in education is a very commendable development,” he said.
The minister appreciated the USAID and the US government and people for help Pakistan in the education sector.
He said he was hopeful that teachers would benefit from the application provided in the tablet to improve their instruction and increase the literacy levels of children in classrooms.
