AIOU to hold conference on research and practices in education next month

An international conference on research and practices in education will be organised by Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) in first week of next month.
The speakers in the conference will include senior educationists from USA and other countries. It is being organised by the Faculty of Education in collaboration with relevant departments.
For the first time, AIOU is hosting a conference that invites
people from around the world to share their research and practices at almost every level of education. For participation, the interested researchers and academicians may register their names by visiting the website: icrpe.aiou. edu.pk/register
The major purpose of the conference is to provide researchers and practitioners a platform to present their recent work and to interact with fellows in a global community of practice.
It will also help to highlight innovative methods and modes of researches around the world and to identify the ways of connecting the learners and instructors through internet and build a safer environment of ubiquitous education.
AIOU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Shahid Siddiqui hoped the event would also help to
foresee what the future of education in the coming decades. Such coordinated efforts in the
field of research would be made a regular feature in the coming years.
The conference is a part of ongoing effort to boost research-based academic activities and develop university’s character as an innovative and creative institution. They were carrying out research work through publications research journals and conferences, the vice chancellor added.
