King Charles is told by Britons to do right by sexual assault victims
King Charles is pushed to apologise to brother Andrew’s sexual assault victims.
His Majesty, who has publicly condemned sexual trafficking in light of Andrew’s friendship with convicted sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein, is also urged to do keep for the victims.
In a survey by YouGov of 7,000, 51% Britons fell the royal family should have done more to punishment Prince Andrew.
The survey was conducted for Sky News.
When asked: “How well or badly do you think King Charles has responded to allegations about the former Prince Andrew and his connections to Jeffrey Epstein?” 45% agreed in affirmation.
In another question, when asked: “Do you think the King should or should not make an apology to Jeffrey Epstein’s victims on behalf of the Royal Family?” To this, 35% said he should said yes.
Meanwhile, speaking to GB News, Royal expert Jennie Bond says: "The Royal Family are quite understandably peeved about the whole thing. In all of their statements, they say that their thoughts are with the victims and not really about themselves, but having said that, they are clearly worried about the damage to the monarchy that this is doing and continuing to do.
