How Queen Elizabeth's silence impacted Diana and Meghan
Queen Elizabeth's cover-up of Princess Diana and Meghan Markle's royal struggles exposed
Allegations surrounding the late Queen Elizabeth II have recently resurfaced.
Insiders have claimed that the late Queen knowingly ignored concerns about her son Andrew Mountbatten Windsor and remained silence on the struggles of Princess Diana and Meghan Markle.
While the late monarch acknowledged the mistreatment of Diana, she remained publicly silent, according to Radar Online.
The source said, "But appearances are everything to the Firm, so the queen never publicly admitted she was wrong about Diana."
"It was a cruel betrayal, because Diana suffered so much. Had the queen embraced her, maybe history would have turned out differently," they added.
The source claimed that "the queen would always say she did the things she did out of love."
Adding, "No one would dare challenge her. She was the queen, after all."
On the other hand, Meghan Markle also publicly accused Queen Elizabeth and the royal family of cover-up when the Duchess of Sussex started to have suicidal thoughts inside the palace.
She had previously said, "I went to the institution and I said I needed to go somewhere to get help. I said, 'I've never felt this way before and I need to go somewhere.' And I was told that I couldn't, that it wouldn't be good for the institution."
An insider claimed that the response like this "comes right from the top. Image is everything to the Firm, and just like with Diana – who also suffered greatly because of the royal family – Meghan's feelings also had to be swept under the rug."
This comes as the late Queen reportedly was aware about Andrew Mountbatten Windsor's links to Jeffrey Epstein but covered it up in order to protect him at all costs.
