Prince William fails to wrap his head around Sussex red carpet treatment: ‘Why so much for them?’

Prince William is said to be one of the only two people in the Firm who are unhappy with the upcoming visit of the Sussexes. Its even gotten to a point where an insider says, he’s doing the only thing he can be, which is to wait for the US-based brother to ‘screw it up himself’ with Meghan.

For those unversed, the whole thing comes as part of an admission by a well placed source who just sat down with Woman’s Day.

According to their findings, the issue revolves around the hoopla that is being offered to the Sussexes, that too after years of their anti-royal rhetoric, memoirs, interviews etc. etc.

The insider even went as far as to say, “this is all deeply personal, but William and Kate can’t understand why so much effort and priority is being taken for Harry and Meghan.”

They also focused in on the Princess of Wales who beat cancer just last year and has only slowly started returning to royal life in full force.

Regarding her the same insider also said, “poor Kate’s had to endure so much… It’s hard for William to not kick off and give his father an ultimatum.”

“The only thing stopping him is the certainty that Meghan and Harry will screw it up themselves,” but where his father is concerned, the man who made the offer for them to stay at a royal residence, the fact is that Charles just “can’t bear ‘drama’” and “already the PR stunts have started even before they’ve arrived.”

What is pertinent to mention about this trip is that it comes exactly a year before the Invictus Games return to their country of origin in Birmingham for another year.
