King Charles and Queen Camilla, along with Prince William and Kate Middleton have been informed

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will most likely receive a wedding invitation from his cousin Peter Phillips, the son of Princess Anne.

This has been claimed by former royal butler Grant Harrold.

Speaking to the Cheat Sheet, Harrold claimed, “I think it’s very likely that Peter will invite Harry and Meghan to the wedding. Weddings are a chance to bring the family together.”

The royal expert further explained all the cousins were very close growing up, of course they were all sharing this very unique experience of growing up in royalty.

“They spent a lot of time together. They’re not as close now of course, but they still share that family bond,” Harrold continued.

However, the former royal aide also raised a big question.

Peter will invite the California-based royal couple, “But if Harry and Meghan accept the invitation is another story altogether.”

Moreover, about the wedding he said it will be a smaller-scale occasion compared to other royal weddings.

“But there will still be excitement surrounding the event. While still a much-loved member of the royal family, Peter isn’t a senior member and is low down the line of succession, so it won’t be anything like what we saw for Harry or Eugenie,” he said.

Earlier, Phillips, the eldest grandson of the late Queen Elizabeth II, announced he will marry his fiancée, Harriet Sperling, in a private summer ceremony in the Cotswolds in June this year.

A spokesman for Phillips confirmed that King Charles and Queen Camilla, along with the Prince and Princess of Wales, have been informed of the upcoming nuptials.
