KARACHI: PTI leader Samir Mir Shaikh has expressed grave concerns over the Sindh government’s decision to a complete lockdown and closure of all businesses in the city.
Samir Mir Shaikh said despite the federal government’s suggestion not to impose a complete lockdown, the provincial government in fact secured its interests rather than caring for the people. He said a few months ago, the PPP-led Sindh government had done the same when it closed down the entire city, including all the businesses that devastated the lives of poor, especially the daily wagers.
The PTI leader said it was understandable that the situation is vulnerable but a complete lockdown could not do good to anyone, and might cost hard to the people.
