Woman arrested for ‘killing’ husband in Bajaur

KHAR: A woman was arrested for the first time after merger of the erstwhile Fata into Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for allegedly killing her husband in the area located near the busy Inayat Killay in Khar tehsil in Bajaur tribal district on Thursday.
The police were informed that a woman identified as Kashmiri Bibi had shot dead her husband Gulistan in Inayat Killay. The police arrested the woman along with the weapon used in the crime. he accused told the police that she had contracted marriage with Gulistan some one year ago.
She said that she committed the crime to take revenge as the slain man had killed her first husband Shah Zameen by administering him a poisonous injection.
