Tahir Ashrafi sees active role of Ulema in dealing with Covid-19

ISLAMABAD: Honorary Representative to the Prime Minister on Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Maulana Tahir Ashrafi on Friday stressed the religious leaders to convince people to get vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus.
Highlighting the significance of mosque as a platform, especially during the Friday’s sermon, Maulana Tahir Ashrafi requested the religious scholars to combat the disinformation and propaganda against the Covid-19 vaccination. Talking to a private TV channel, he said the role of Ulema to create awareness about the vaccination was of paramount importance.
