Colts to leave for Hong Kong tomorrow for Asian netball c’ship
KARACHI: Pakistan Netball Federation (PNF) on Thursday announced that the Pakistan junior girls’ netball team will leave for Hong Kong on Saturday (today) to participate in the 9th Asian junior girls netball championship 2015.
Anum Salam will lead the team, while Kashia Asif will be the vice-captain. A total of 12 teams will be seen in action during the tournament. Apart from Pakistan and hosts Hong Kong, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Maldives, India, Japan, Chinese Taipei, Thailand, Abu Dhabi, Malaysia and Brunei will also be battling for top honours. Singapore are the defending champions.
Pakistan will play their first match against hosts Hong Kong on December 14.
