Other than the general price-hike, which is already putting an enormous burden on the citizens, the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has decided to double the urgent transfer fee of residential plots in its jurisdiction. They said presently the urgent transfer fee of a residential plot is Rs 7,000per marla whereas after the implementation on new rates it will become Rs 14,000/ per marla. Officials added that in case of construction over a plot, the authority will not get any extra charges for it.
