GCU wins trophies

LAHORE
Government College University’s Debating Society (GCU-DS) lifted the team trophies at the two national declamations hosted by the Cadet College Jhang and FAST- NU Islamabad. Qasim Raza from GCU History Department was adjudicated the Best Urdu Speaker at Jhang. GCU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Hassan Amir Shah and Debating Society Co-Advisree Siddique Awan have congratulated Qasim Raza, Ali Zar, Rana Qamar Iqbal and Abdullah Zafar on their excellent performances and individual positions at the declamation contests. The Vice Chancellor said GCU Debating Society was taking initiatives to ensure training and widespread participation of their students in healthy co-curricular activities.
