LAHORE:Okara Police arrested 142 proclaimed offenders during the last month. Heavy weapons and drugs have been recovered. Crackdowns on criminals and anti-social elements in all districts of the province continued.
Okara District Police Officer Umar Saeed Malik said during the last month police arrested 142 proclaimed offenders involved in murder, dacoity and robbery among them 25 are of A category whereas 105 criminals are of B category and 12 are court absconders. During this period, 109 cases of weapons were registered in which 02 Kalashnikovs, 07 rifles, 18 guns, 81 pistols, 01 Carbine and 665 bullets have been recovered from the accused.
