Soaps, sanitizer given to police
LAHORE:Directors of private companies called on Additional IG Operations and praised police efforts against coronavirus here on Monday.
They gave 15,000 soaps and 200 sanitizers to the police. Mutual cooperation of all institutions and departments of society in fighting against pandemic disease is need of the hour, Addl IG Operations Inam Ghani said.
He added that police officers and officials are on the frontline and playing the role of frontline soldiers to save the citizens from this lethal virus. Police force is engaged in streets, Mohallas and roads for implementation of measures of the government. Possible steps are being taken for the protection of police and essential equipment from the private companies is a praiseworthy step, he said.
