MANSEHRA: The district administration on Monday discarded a large quantity of adulterated milk and unhygienic meat seized during raids at shops. A joint team of district administration and Livestock Department’s vet doctors led by Additional Assistant Commissioner Sundus Arshad Malik raided various milk shops in the city and its suburbs. A huge quantity of watery and chemically contaminated milk was confiscated. “Milk found contaminated and unhygienic for health was discarded on the spot and shops were fiend,” she said. The official said meat shops were also raided and butchers selling unhygienic meat were fined.
